Help with Win AA+ powder in 9mm and 45acp.

Driving through Clearfield, PA this past weekend I stopped in Grice Gun shop to see what was available in powders. Not much for pistol. Although I did find some old stock of Winchester AA Plus, a short lived shotgun/handgun powder. I have never heard of it and couldn't find any reference of it in any of the store reloading manuals. So I took and chance and bought the last 1lb container for $15.95.

Searching the forum here I found a post from 2003 asking about load information for the same 45acp and 9mm. Just wondering what members have discovered since then. Most say its very similar to Win 452AA(replaced by WST) and Trap100 and used there data.

Before I experiment on my own, I wanted to ask if anyone else developed a load with Win AA+ since 2003?

Hello Mike, here is a link to a collection of old Winchester reloading pamphlets. I found some data for a discontinued powder in these pamphlets, perhaps you can find some data for your powder as well. Good luck!

I've got an 8 pound keg of it, but haven't had a chance to experiment with in for handgun loads as of yet. Another project for later..........
