I, belive this is the right place. I, own 2 Henrys, a 44Mag and a 45-70. Henry does not recomend shooting Leverlotion bullets, because of a loading problem. I, was wondering, does any one else own a Henry, if so did you shoot leverlotion ammo? How did it work and how did it shoot? Thank You

I can't imagine why Henry Rifles couldn't function with leverevolution ammo. It might work fine ..... I'd try some. I suppose some individual rifles might choke .... but Henry is supposed to make good rifles, despite some people disliking the lack of a side loading gate.

I've had both calibers here.
Just checked with Henry, the issue is an old one relating to a feed problem caused by overall length being slightly longer than SAAMI specs.
Corrected some time ago.

I have both of those Henry rifles. I have never used any lever revolution ammo in mine. I loaded some .44 mag loads using a true Keith style LSWC 250 grain bullet. The OAL was 1.71" and they would not feed in the rifle. I could load them in the chamber manually and shoot them but they would not feed from the loading tube. I have heard that some of the Hornady Lever revolution brass is shorter than standard brass in order to meet OAL specs using the longer FTX bullet.
I have read reviews of lever revolution ammo and of people using them in Henry rifles with no issues. You could always try a box of 20. If they won't feed, you can always load them in the chamber one at a time in order to use them up.
