Henrys new .223/5.56 rifle

It's a little ungainly, but the only part I don't especially like is the shape of the big loop lever. Give me one in 350 legend or 450 bm, and another one in 300 blk and a 16" threaded barrel for a suppressor host and I'm happy! And maybe a 6.5 Grendel.

Idk what these will cost, but I have thought of getting a bolt action that uses AR mags in .223 cuz it's simple and reliable.

What would be nice of Henry is to make a budget version because I really don't care for this to maintain the traditional lever action looks. Use cheaper furniture materials and color finishing, I dont care, this is meant to be used, not safe queened.

Looks like Henry is seeing just how close they can come to marketing a Saturday Night Special and getting by with it. No different than any other modern day Henry.
I don't see that. Saturday Night Special heavily implies pot metal frames. In their defense, the only pot metal parts are the inner receivers of the .22's.

I'm curious to know what the twist rate of the barrel will be.

If it's 1:9 like the Long Ranger that will be sad.
