heritage rough rider grips

my ex wife is getting my oldest son a heritage rough rider for christmas. I have a few ruger single actions with custom grips and he has always been impressed with them.

I was thinking of getting him some nice after market grips to go on his gun. He likes real wood. Can someone point me in the rightdirection on where to get some? A google search and ebay really did not bring up anything

The Heritage Roughrider series is an inexpensive gun.
So there aren't a lot of options for grips other than what BCCL linked.

Where you'll see a LOT more options are for much more expensive guns.

Thanks guys. I didn't realize heritage sold they directly. I figured the pickings would be slim compared to the options for my rugers, but this does help

Last time I looked there were at least 13 different style grips available for these revolvers. We went with the Cocos....and they're gorgeous.....

The one I have has some fine grain rosewood that is very pleasing to the eye. very well finished and feel like a slimed down Colt Navy grip. But the company does carry others. Wh0 knows, the ones that come on that one as a gift might turn out to be real nice....

Personally? The multitude of gawdy colored lammi grips that they came out with a while back (and seem to be the ones on Bud's Guns blems) kinda look like crap on a cowboy gun....

I agree, I really didn't like the look of those laminated grips, but the Bud's Blem guns were such a good deal, I ordered one anyway.

I was pleasantly surprised when it came with solid wood grips instead, I believe Orangewood. Looks very good on that gun. The Rouigh Rider may not cost much, but it's quite a good gun that's a BLAST to shoot. TennJed, your son is going to be in HEAVEN!
