I saw a Hi Power at a show it was stamped made in Belgium, not the one that is made in Belgium assembled in Portugal, is the one that says made in Belgium better or has more value, anyone?

Nope. Same pistol. FN has been assembling the Hi-Power in Belgium for awhile to save labour costs that is all. So many out there I doubt there ever will be a collector's premium on any of the FN variants.

Take Care

Thanks for that info, I passed up on it, kind of regret it it was in the 500 ish

Some prefer the all Belgium ones.
I have one of each and the Belgium model is better in finish, trigger, and accuracy.
The trigger may be because it is older and the previoius owner used it more. Accuracy could just be luck of the draw.
As for the finish, they did better polishing jobs in the '70s as opposed to the 90's. Pretty true of most mass produced guns.
