Given the complexity of that part, I would suspect one piece MIM, but a call to Midway should get a definitive answer.

Thank you for the reply, Mr. K.! I decided to make an empirical research of the part in question - just ordered it...

Browning and most other parts makers have been making MIM parts for eons. The Canadian Forces used 'em 35 plus years ago. All those wee parts require fitting too. Drop in, they ain't.
The same part from Midwest Gun Works runs $20. Also a Browning part.

The question was not if the safety lever was a MIM part, but if it is a two piece part. I'm well aware of the fact, that Browning uses MIM in Hi-Powers for at least 10 years. Before that, on Mk. III guns, those parts were castings. The OEM safety lever IS a drop in part, at least for Mk. III guns - the sear blocking tab is pre-shaped and by any practical means it is working the way it should - sure it allows for some sear movement, but it's rather small and of no concern. Only purists will not like that and will demand a safety that blocks the sear with no movement at all. By the way, Browning shows some remarkable consistency in the firing mechanism part's dimensions throughout the years - on my Mk. III Hi-Power I'm using a heavily modified early style ring hammer (sure it's different, but by all practical means it's a drop in part) and an early style firing pin stop (with small radius at the bottom) - again, no fitment needed.

Not sure exactly which 2 pieces you mean but the one I fitted recently had the left side lever and shaft as one piece and the right side lever pins on. Obviously the detent plunger and spring are separate pieces.

I was referring to the left side safety lever - i thought it was obvious from the Midway link I put. On the older Mk II & III Brownings, the left side safety levers are a separate part from the shaft - peened together, while on the newer MIM parts they are of one piece design. I didn't even mentioned the right side lever because it's obvious that it must be a separate part. The detent plunger and it's spring obviously must be a separate parts part also, so I didn't mentioned them either.

P.S. I'm sorry, I should have made myself more clear, but being around gun-nuts (they are my friends, I have no choice...) that understand me with just a few words does not help me at all when I try to explain something. I must constantly remind myself that what is obvious and logical to me maybe must be explained more thoroughly to somebody else...

I figured that must have been the case. From what I can see the new ones are cast or MIM as a complete left side lever and shaft. I don't have enough experience with the platform to know that they used to be two separate pieces.
