Hypothetically, how difficult would it be to keep the fact that you CCW a pistol day in and day out (or even own one) from your spouse?

What steps would need to be taken in order to insure that it is completely a secret?

Controversies:
1. Why keep it from a spouse? A spouse should know everything about their partner.

No, Impossible, unless you live in different places, and a terrible idea, for scores of reasons, your (and your spouse's safety) being among the top two.

I agree with corporal K. Talk to them about it. What if they found it? I'd rather not think about an uneducated, emotional person with a gun :(

My wife didn't know for about two years. No need for her to know.

She was working 2nd shift and came home early one night while I was doing dishes, and I didn't have the gun concealed. She was surprised that she never noticed. So was I.

get a safety deposit box, put your gun in it. Put key to said box in your will to go to a luckey friend or family member.
If you need someone to give the key send me a pm...
Good luck

Could be very easy, depends how alert and trusting she is.

Could be impossible, depends how jealous and controlling she is.

YMMV.

Normally, I try *really* hard to not allow my personal feelings on any given subject color how I moderate a forum. I really do. But this time, I'm going to willingly give in to the temptation.

I can see absolutely ZERO good coming from this thread, and if the last post is any indication of the tenor of dialog that we're likely to endure - I'm just going to say NO to all of that.

Sorry, gang. We are just not going to do this one.
