would like some feed back on High piont scopes. wallmart has a 3-9x32 with mill dot+red and green cross hairs. for about $60.00 i was thinking of puting it on a mini14 ranch. or are they just junk and a waist of money. i dont want something that wont hold its zero. but i also dont want to pay more than $100 for a scope for a mini. i just cant justify spending more than that on a scope for an average at best mini 14. + im saving for a buriss XTR for the ar15

I never put a scope on my mini.... I think the scopes you refer to are decent on a budget from what I hear. They are in packages that allow you to view through the scope in the store. I hear the BSA Sweet 223 are decent, it has preset turrents for the bullet drop. You could just go with a red dot, accuracy is limited either way, might as well be able to aquire a target fast.

I have 4 of them and never had any problem...top notch Customer Service and warranty...

i have something similar, i think its a centerpoint, but it may be a High point, its a 4-16x40mm with the red/green mildot reticule and big easy to use windage/elevation knobs......69.99 at wallyworld. works fine so far, have used it on my .22mag for about two years and holds up great, i put one on my new .308 and it worked great, but im having trouble with that gun now, i think it is a problem i accidentally created myself on the stock for that one:eek:
