I just bought a Supermatic Trophy, listed as a model 106...But it is not stamped 106 on the side like it should be. The sn# is 2415XXX...Any insight to this would be VERY appreciated. Thanks...-Joshua

I am not sure about the production date on that gun, but H-S did not begin to use model numbers until 1953, so any gun older than that will not have a model number.

Joshua, my guess is you actually have a Model 107 based on the serial number you've posted. The Model 106 was made from 1965-1968 with a serial number range of about 1436172-197xxxx. The Model 107 was made from 1968-1981. Your serial number would indicate it was originally shipped in 1973. Hope this helps!
