State of Maine is deciding whether or not to make CCW permit holders information private. (Currently in Maine our personal info is public information, luckily right now there is an emergency law in affect until April, 30th to make it private since the attack from the Bangor Daily News)

How much notice will the Maine Government take of this poll ? I also voted the info should not be made public,hope it helps you. I`m not a resident of Maine, yet was allowed to vote in the poll.
Wouldn`t it carry more weight if voting in that poll were restricted to bonfide Maine residents only?
I think this is a weakness those who want to make that info public will use against the people opposed to making that info public.
