I'm not sure how their site is setup but most sites can tell when multiple votes come from the same IP address. In any case, just throwin it out there.

That doesn't look like a poll. It is recounting the polls they and others have run and noting the drop in approval for more restrictions since the high right after Sandy Hook.

The Huffin'gas Post never has scientific polls, just the hit as much as you want variety. But it is often quoted as gospel on network news. So what the hey, hit it. A few times.

These are the topline results of a YouGov/Huffington Post survey of 1000 US adults interviewed December 5 - 6, 2013 on gun control. The results show that nearly half the public wants gun laws to be stricter than they currently are. The margin of error is 4%.

It isn't an open poll, but one that was conducted in an attempt to get a statistical sample.
