What would i have to do to convert my HK P2000 9mm v3 to 40cal or 357 sig?

I'm not a big fan of caliber conversions...in my experience, you just end up dealing w/ alot of reliability issues you never had prior to converions.

  • 40 or 357 slide assembly
  • 40 or 357 barrel
  • 40 or 357 magazine(s)
EDIT: Forgot to mention the recoil spring assembly

Not sure if the ejector is the same on 9x19 and 40/357. Could be a problem, esp. since it is molded into the frame.

Just the slide assembly and barrel will likely be the same price or really close to the price of buying a complete pistol.

You could get a complete pistol (in 40 or 357) and be able to shoot both calibers (40/357) with the only part needed being the barrel.

Because of those reasons, I think that you'd just be better off buying the pistol itself.

Being that the .40 and .357 are a larger diameter for the barrel, just a barrel swap would not be possible.

Get one. I think you'll like it, don't let some cheap ass schmuck tell you otherwise. :D I like my P2000 LEM 40.

Not HK P2000, but a similar situation.

On my Sig P226R 9mm, it's not interchangeable. The manual specifically states that only between the .40 and .357 are the barrels interchangeable.
