I would look at the P2000 myself. Its a great gun especially in .40 S&W.

I agree with Tecumseh. The USP is a great gun but the P2000 and the new P30 (even though 9mm only), have some attractive features. Worth a look at least, if you haven't already.

what i mean by it looking like a hi-point is how tall the slide is compared to the short grip. they look out of proportion.
