I'll post this over on HKpro eventually, but I'm waiting on my confirmation e-mail.

I'm trying to install the Hybrid LEM trigger on a USP Expert 9mm. Things seem to go according to plan until I get the slide back, at which point the hammer won't release - if I pull the trigger, the hammer goes all the way back as I would expect, but it's all "takeup" and there's no point where it breaks and drops the hammer. All it does is stay at the rearmost position until I release the trigger, and then the hammer follows it back down.

Seems to me as though the cocking piece in the hammer is coming off the hammer strut, but I don't know why.

I insert the cocking piece into the hammer, with the nub on the left side of the hammer and the notch in the cocking piece facing down.

Cocking piece spring gets the lower leg pulled up, and I insert the sear between the hammer and the flat spring, so that one leg of the CPS rests on the hammer and the other on the hammer side of the sear.

I make sure I can see the hammer strut interfacing with the cocking piece, then reinsert the hammer spring and retainer.

Disconnecter gets installed, catch and control latch, pin inserted. Control latch hook goes over the hammer axle. Catch - is it supposed to pivot up and down to allow the hammer to fall all the way?

Suggestions? This may just be me being an idiot, but I'm not seeing my problem.
