Dang they must have switched over night or during the day today. Last night they still had the old site up. The new site's not bad, but I still like the old site better. Just tried it on my IPhone without issue.

I read it at 800 res--works good for me
If I want to print it & have everything show on the paper--I switch to 1280 res & it prints it all-----WHAT A PAIN

On mobile, I think it's easier to use. I'm gonna keep messing around with it though just to get a better feel for it. Still not much info on my beloved Barnes TTSX 150 grain 30-06 though. Boooo

Ditto for me too. I like to be able to filter. Works fine on my Firefox/Win7. I'm not sure I like the large Apple style look n feel. I can't find find the bbl length even after I print it, like we were able to on the old system.

I'd bet a steak dinner the new system is here to stay, but we can get them to tweak it with bbl length and anything meaningful which is missing.

I REALLY LIKE IT! Don't mean to be rude, caps for emphasis. To me it's a huge improvement. You can use the check marks to filter the data down to what you want. If you want the old way, just check everything. I have no plans to buy 36gr .224 bullets or Clays for my 9mm. It's easier to find snow in Arizona that H4895, so why clutter my reloading binder up with data I don't need? Sure, it's fun to sit on my couch and read data pages, but I don't need to.

Worked fine with chrome.

I am running Chrome and I do not get the Print feature.
I would post a screen shot if I new how.

Edit:
Found it.
I have to reduce the screen size to 90% or less for the entire thing to load.

What a pain.

Looks pretty good to me and I normally don't like change. Really neat that you can have several tabs of different calibers up at once.

Works fine on my iPad. A lot easier to read than the old version. It will work better for me the way I reload.

If I had never seen the old format, the new one would be okay, I guess. The old one was better by far, IMHO. More data was available at a glance without all the scrolling, expanding, etc. You could narrow its focus just like this one does. I think compacting the new format would make it much more user friendly.

I do have print and email buttons, between the multiple choice input section and the data output list. Firefox browser. Maybe "print" doesn't show up on devices without print capability?

I also heard that 3.3 million reloaders had logged on to the new website, but 90% were previous users who were forced to because the old sight was eliminated. :D

Tried it again last night and it takes at least 8 minutes to go through the menu and load a page with internet explorer and windows 7. I just get the message "not responding" while its locked up. Someone mentioned it worked with "Chrome" and I opened the page quite quickly so thanks for posting that.
I liked the old format, this new one takes up way too much space when printing out.
I'm loading 38 special right now with Universal and I have several different bullets. I use to be able to put all the loads on one page, now it takes three! And thats after editing out some of the bullet weights I don't have. But I can do multiple powders now so I guess I can make it work.
This is/was my favorite source for powder info. Hodgdon powders are my favorite.

I wrote Hodgdon and asked about some of the "problems" we are seeing with the new site. I understand them wanting to jazz up the page but I'm old and I don't need pretty, I need info...

I just tried it for the 1st time. It is different and I did not like it at first but after a few minutes it started growing on me. I especially like the big fonts.

How do you access Barrel Length?
The print page used to list barrel length, now it does not.

I sent them an e-mail earlier today asking the same thing. Used to be you could go to "print" and see what primer they used. Even printed a page today and no-where did it tell you the primer.

I just tried it myself and it was fine on my slow old netook and my tablet, no issues or lockups. You not using a bad browser are you?

I read some more, I see people reporting problems with Internet Explorer, you should never ever be using that unsafe, unstable thing, that would explain the problem.

Hodgdon's New Website

I tried it on my PC and had zero problems. I tried it on my tablet that has Android and it works to a point and then seems to lock up.The old system worked fine for me on both the PC & tablet.

OK, that right there is a bold statement! I think you may have something there from my experience.
First: Why would Hodgdon create a page that is unusable [my opinion] with a very popular and widely used web browser?
Second: Why do you think Internet Explorer sucks?
Third: What is the best web browser for this type of thing? Please keep it simple!
I want to use something that is easy and works [kind of like my pistol loads] Nothing top end that takes alot of maintenance and attention.

It suxs on a brand new Apple iPad Air.

Works on IE Explorer better, but to me, it still suxs compared to the old version.

no barrel length, primer or case. In rifles especially, that be mattering. Will stick with the printed mags, instant comparison.

Browser

I would think they would write to all of the major browsers which would including IE. What is the JAVA engine might be a better road to go down. I am wondering if they hired the web master for our the Health Care web site. In any case from what it read and see the page is broken. They should be working on it, I'm sure.

I kinda like it, it works great on windows 8 IE. Seems like it was made for a touch screen, the old site was hard to navigate on a 7" screen. I do wish they had primers listed though.

The new site is working for me with WIN7 running Chrome. But, it is missing primer, bbl length, and twist used for testing. I hope this was just an oversight that will soon be corrected...
