5.4gr was my chosen load for a Xtreme 124gr RN bullet shot over a Pro-Chrono. Fired from a G19.

I see 5.1 as the listed max with one 124 bullet.

I have loaded 5 gr with the RMR 124 plated FN @ 1.09 with no issues.

They must have added that since I grabbed the data a while back.
Thanks for letting me know, looks like they added data for that bullet and the 125gr HAP. Need to add those to my spreadsheet.

Looks like the BERB is loaded at a longer OAL.

My favorite load in 9mm is 5.0 gr under a 124 gr LRN hi-tek coated bullet seated to 1.150". It makes for one long round, but my SR9 loves em. They feed great and easily pass the plunk test. They also burn clean leaving no unburnt powder on me or the gun.

Getting back to what I meant when I said they felt hot, was that they caused pain in the palm of my hand when shooting one five round magazine through the light weight XDS with a 3.3" barrel. Hornady's caused the same pain, factory loaded target rounds do not. To me, anything that causes pain is not any fun to shoot. I enjoy shooting my 45's, but like to come home without my right hand hurting.

I agree Pegram, the muzzle flip on my 7.1 grain CFE load was atrocious.
I have used 7.0 CFE with Frontier 165 Plated FN and find them snappy in both my M&P 40C and FS M & P 40. I have not had any bulged cases and they are accurate for me. My soft shooting load with the same bullet is 3.7 grains Clays/Alliant ClayDot. My COL is 1.130 with both loads.
