I find the standard rubber grips on Taurus and S&W medium frames a bit too slim.

Are the Hogue grips - rubber or wood - a bit more hand filling, or just a different shape?

I have put Hogues on most of my revolvers, they seem to fit my hand better than any other brand.

See Ahrends for S&W grips that fill the hand appropriately. They look nice, too.:)

I put Hogues on pretty much all of my handguns, but it's because I like how gummy they are, I've never really had any fitting problems. I put a hogue hand-all on my Sigma and my Glocks, I currently have wrap-around finger-groove grips on my 1911. I know 1911 purists say this is blasphemy, but I very much prefer them to regular-style grips now.

I've tried Hogue rubber grips on a S&W J-frame , a S&W k-frame, and a Colt trooper, I no longer use Hogue grips.

I have Hogues on all of my pistols, mostly because they provide a nearly slip-free grip, but also because they just feel "right".

Just installed Hogue monogrip on my Taurus 650. I like the feel much better than the OEM grips - I dislike having my pinky without anyplace to put it & the Hogue grip fixes that problem. However, I haven't fired it since putting the new grip on.

I had one of the sleeve things on a CZ 70 and that really helped the feel of it when I shot it.
