Hey-
Just got a Hollywood Senior Turret press, been looking for years! Talked to "The Man" at Hollywood Engineering and ordered a catalog.Very interesting and knowledgable gentleman.
I`m wondering if anyone has rigged up an auto-prime system or collection hose for spent primers.
Let me know if you have any ideas.
Many Thanks!
Tom

I tried adding a spent primer collection tube, but the design seemed to discourage it. I do know of some who fashion cardboard or plastic collection cups that work ok. I just use my hand.

A trick that works ok for me is to tape a small plastic 35 mm film container under the shell holder (if you can still find those things), this will hold quite a few before needing to be emptied. Got this tip from an old Dean Grennel article or maybe an early version of the ABC's of reloading. Simple but it works.

Catalog? Are they still making them? In 1997 the single stage was $500 and the turret $600. The turret wasn't threaded for dies; you decided what size and did it yourself. 50#'s, I guess for swaging or big cartridges it has a place, but for anything else......

I talked to Joe Mueller of Sun Valley, CA. He`ll make a new one for $1000.
His phone is 818-842-8376. I`ve got a catalog on the way.
