Holosun 507k green or red

Any opinions on the above. Will be for a tx22 compact. The price difference is irrelevant.

I currently have a couple Burris ffiii's one on gp100 and one on tx22 comp both with red dot and a vortex venom on 357 1894 also with a red dot,

I am kinda torn if I should stick with red or go green. Will be for purely plinking plates and cans.

I had the green. A few others in red. Green is much easier to see in daylight. Be aware, that one is manual adjust only, not auto adjust. For a target gun, you should be quite happy with it.

I have an Aimpoint Pro on an AR which is a red dot and three of the Holosun 407 and 507s, all in green, used on a pistol and two shotguns.
I will never buy another red dot, the green is so much easier to see for me.

I have both red and green dot sights...I prefer red. It's really personal preference...handle both and pick the one you like better.

Have both red and green holosuns, took them outside with a snow covered ground, the red flat out disappeared.

I have a Holosun greed dot on my FN FNX-45 Tactical and a Holosun red dot on an AR-15 pistol. The green dot works better in sunlight.

Green. It's a more natural color for your eye to pick up. But, overall battery life will be a little shorter with green than red.

I think you will be happy with the green reticle.

I actually prefer green reticles since they don't bloom as much as red reticles do with my astigmatism.
