Jimme. The description I got on the 5BHL is that is has two sets of belt loops. One is a 1-3/4" and the other is 2-1/4". Using the combination of belt loops, can the holster be used cross draw?
I had forgot to add that I really need cross draw capacity plus strong side carry.
I've got a 5BHL for my GP100 and it works pretty well. If your looking for crossdraw capabilities, Bianchi makes a similar holster called the cyclone or something like that. Looks to be the same holster otherwise.
The cyclone, model 111, can be used either cross draw or strong side. It is also lined. The 5BHL does not cover the triger, the cyclone does. the 5BHL is closed at the end, and the cyclone is open. otherwise, they are about the same.
Might want to also have a look at the simplyrugged Sourdough pancake. I have one for my 6" GP100. It allows strong side and crossdraw. You can see them at simplyrugged.com. Here's a picture in this thread http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=291669
