I have a Blackhawk #3 pocket holster for my G42. Unfortunately the lower right of the holster bends in, and the holster loses a good part of it's function (avoid printing). Any ideas for a more rigid holster?
I have that exact holster, I like it. It seems like the grippy material needs a minute or two to really "grab" the pocket lining, but works as intended. The instructions say to use your thumb to push off the holster during the draw, and that is required. In dry fire practice I came out with a holster when I didn't sufficiently push off the holster. My one complaint is that it does tend to print. It seems like the "wing" doesn't break up the outline all that well in certain pants. Likely my wardrobe is at fault here rather than the holster.
Florida company; www.StickyHolsters.com has a new "Kydex" insert for the pocket holsters.
I like the DeSantis Nemnesis. I owned one for my Taurus Protector snub revolver.
i like stickyholsters too. I have a sticky for my cm9, but It fits the glock 42 as well. The sticky (or nemesis) are extremely low profile and because they arent hooked to your belt, you can adust for the least printing.
