I picked up a Walther PPS for a concealed carry class, and possibly for future CC. I'd like both pocket carry and IWB carry as options, does anyone have experience mating the PPS to a holster?

DM Bullard makes an excellent IWB for the PPS, at a very reasonable price.

Ended up ordering a crossbreed supertuck for IWB carry - will report back after it arrives.
Still looking for a pocket holster option - leaning towards Mika's hand-made version.

I ordered a Fist #5 pocket holster for my PPS. It isn't here yet, but I really like the design. It has a kydex thumb push so that you can be sure you won't pull the holster out with the gun. Most holsters rely on the holster catching on the pocket some how.
Available in leather or ultra-thin kydex.

I'm curious on the actual pocketability as well, which is why I went IWB to start with.

How long is the wait on FIST right now?
The SuperTuck maker claims 2-3 weeks wait time, and the blackhawk generic holster looks cheaper and cheaper every time I see it.
Luckily I won't have a CCW class until late next month, so I should be able to strap on right after getting my card from the county.

When I ordered they said 6-8 weeks. I'm right at 6 weeks so it should be here pretty soon.

SuperTuck arrived
CrossBreed SuperTuck arrived today (ordered on 15MAR)
The good:
-Fits me comfortably out of the mailer
-Good fit to the gun
-Seems to be well constructed (I'm no expert, this is my first custom holster)
-Retention is good, I put in the PPS, held the holster upside-down, and tried to shake it loose. It came out after about 30 seconds of vigorous agitation
-Draw is good, it takes a positive action to break the PPS free, but it comes out with no trouble after that
The bad:
-PPS rides a bit high, I'll wait and decide if it needs adjustment, the clip attachment to the body of the holster is adjustable
-CCW class isn't for 3 weeks, so I'll be enjoying this holster at home only for a while
I'll post some pictures soon for anyone interested.

I got a Blade Tech UCH Holster for my PPS and I love it. It's well made and it's so thin that it adds very little to your waistband size. With a gun that is only 0.9" across the top of the slide, the less the holster adds to your waistband, the more you take advantage of the slimness of the gun.

Supertuck after a few months of packing, plus some more CB stuff
Some pictures of the SuperTuck after a few month's carry. It has proven to be durable and comfortable. I set the clips for just a bit of forward cant, and so the Kydex's upper edge would ride just barely below the waistline of most of my pants when strapped in. I've also made a slight adjustment to the retention by warming and depressing the Kydex over the trigger-guard, CrossBreed was kind enough to include basid directions for adjustments in the package.
When ordering MrsBFD a holster for her Springfield XD 9mm subcompact, I tossed in a magazine carrier as well, it did require a minor adjustment to the clip, when my fat rear had everything warped after a day of getting into and out of the car ... but after that tweak it fits even better than it did out of the package. Don't blame the wavy look of the clip on CB, it ended up that way after a few bad tries at heating and adjusting, and I finally got it to fit my two gun-belts just right, so I'm not messing with it any more unless I need to.
MrsBFD wanted a Velcro-backed holster, so we went with the known good company and ordered her an Ohai. I tweaked the retention a bit tighter for her while I was abusing her hairdryer for the other two adjustments as well.
I just realized that some shots of the lack of holster wear on the PPS, and maybe a shot or two of actual concealment may be helpful, I'll try for some more pictures tomorrow, to benefit the few people who use the search feature.

Two shots of the ST without a covering shirt. It looks like I didn't have the clips seated quite perfectly yet in these. The belt is also from CrossBreed, I'm in "casual day" uniform, cargo pants and a camp shirt with undershirt.
(undershirt is very helpful for IWB carry, and I generally use a black one just in case there is some exposure, like a wind blowing the shirt around, the gun/holster/background are all the same color)
You can see a slight ding in the side of the PPS in these, I have no idea where that came from, but I suspect it is from banging into something while packing, or perhaps a nail-head from the tables at the range.
A shot of the holster IWB without the PPS - re-holstering is easy and I have the holster's clips set to keep the Kydex at the top of the waistline of most of my pants.
The light streak is from the slide lock lever and takedown latch. The only places I have holster wear (so far, at least) are the slide lock lever and the front corners.

First shot is natural drape of the shirt (A snazzy silk camp shirt in this case). MrsBFD took a bunch of these, at various angles, none showed much of a lump, this one had a hint of a suggestion of a bit of a "something" under the shirt.
Second shot is with shirt pulled tight over holster as I bend forward, a "worst-case" shot. There is something visible under the shirt, but only if you know where to look. This was the most "revealing" shot of four.
Here's a shot of the mag carrier, I had to re-shape the Kydex clip a bit to fit on this belt better. Strangely, it fit on the BeltMan belt great, but not this belt from CB.

I just specified the holster for a Walther PPS and no one asked about barrel length. I believe the PPS only comes in one barrel length.

Holster is holding up fine. Very wearable (although it's supposed to be easy on and off without unbuckling your belt, but you still have to loosen your belt). Seems to retain the firearm fine, but I would really love a thumb break for the added retension. All in all a good deal and the best part: it adds very little to your waist so no need for new pants. Enjoy if you get it.

Oh yeah..... the PPS/CB combo is a match made in heaven. I'm a believer.
