I did a video shooting some of the more popular SD ammunition through drywall for my club in an attempt to hopefully settle some discussion, but I think its going to start more arguments rather than finish.
At 12 yards the birdshot through the Rem 870 opened up too much and took out the “wall”. I was surprised how quickly the 223 round tumbled. Going to have to do more research on this one. :)
Enjoy.

Check out Box O' Truth website for comparisons.

You should provide the specifics of barrel length along with make/model/load of ammunition (shot weight, case, bullet weight, etc.).

Everything you shot will go through the 4 layers of drywall so you may want to put another pair of drywall pieces in place to see if the projectiles will cross another "room" with enough energy to get through one or more layers of drywall.

Distance from the first wall won't make any real difference unless you get beyond reasonable house ranges.
