A friend from our office has been hovering on the fringe of taking up my offer to go to the range. Yesterday he bit...
In short, I've created a monster.
I started him, as I start all new handgun shooters, on a Ruger Single Six. We progressed through the revolvers from SA to DA, then from .22 through .38 and on to .357. He was having a pretty good time.
Until...
I migrated him to semi-auto. He latched on to my 22/45 like a 'skeeter to the back of your ear. Oh sure, we kept on going until he had gone up the ranks from 9mm, to .40, to .45, but he kept going back to the little Ruger. When all was said and done we had gone through almost 1000 rounds! All this morning he's been bugging me about when we can go next.
