Does anybody know if Hornady sells the plastic gears for their case prep trio?
Couldn't find anything online as far as replacement parts. 20240324_175531.jpg

I seem to remember seeing somewhere someone that was making a replacement for it. Seems to me it may have been either 3-D printed or else made from metal possibly? But, now I can’t find it, and don’t remember where it was.

Yes they do sell the plastic parts for the case prep trio, I just got a new set of gears for mine. The whole shaft with gear pressed on what they'll send you. Email their CS and they'll put you in touch with someone that will take care of you! I replaced all the gears including the driver and I think it was $35ish including shipping

I would suspect there is a hole or something (flat) for the plastic to lock into to keep it from spinning.
There is thus stippling that holds them in place, kinda makes me wonder if they don't sell just the gear, may have to buy the whole shaft. 20240324_183410.jpg

One of the gears broke on mine, so I called to order a set. They wouldn't take my money, just sent a replacement set of three. The gears arrived already on the shafts, so replacement was pretty straight forward.

It seems they had a bad bunch of gears, and would replace them under warranty depending on the serial number IIRC.

I recommend replacing all three when you get the parts and keep the original two as spares. If you only replace the broken one and another one breaks, you'll have to take the unit apart again. Not a big deal, but another thing to have to do.
