Horrible dream last night.......

Last night, I dreamed a new piece of gun control legislation had been made law. It got in as part of a new "security" bill. There was no text of the bill available prior to voting, and it was passed simply on the word of the sponsor. The bill made it a felony offense to have more than 14 rounds loaded at one time. Regardless of whether they are for seperate guns, including range time or home defense. Only 14 rounds could be loaded in mags, etc at one time.
I woke up sweating.
So, what do you think? What would be the gun industry's response to this? Nothing? Do you think there would be a rash of "new and improved" ammunition, for sure "one stop shots"? Maybe new, more powerful ammo?
What would the NRA do? Or not?
What would be your response?
No more 15+1, no longer any difference between capacity for a 9 or a .45. No more worry about reloading during a gunfight.
What about zombies?????

Why did you post this? If any liberals come across it....you're going to be the one who is going to be blamed for their latest idea of gun control.

Sorry, just had to point out that liberals can't think for themselves....they just like other's ideas that makes them happy, kind of like this one.

I hope you don't have anymore nightmares, don't give the liberals anymore ideas, and I hope this never comes true!!

I had a dream 2 nights ago that actually worked out well. I was using an ATM machine when somebody came up behind me. I just had a feeling and covertly pulled out my lowly P32 from my coat pocket. As I turned, the lowlife was just pulling a gun. I was faster and put the P32 up to his forehead and said, "Don't even f****** think about it!" He slowly raised both hands, dropped the gun, then ran like hell. I woke up a little shaky, but feeling rather good. Usually in my dreams, the gun doesn't work or I fill him with lead to no avail; simply put, something doesn't go according to plan. Only a scant few times has it worked out for the better.

I'm not saying I would have actually done this, but hey, whatever works.

We would need to bring back the Dardick trounds and work up a better weapons system for them.

Drum magazines for Thompson's, AK's, and AR's are ROUND...one drum magazine counts as one round, right?!? I'm sure somebody could whip up drum mags for....well...every other magazine fed firearm on the planet!

My Wifes girl buddy came up with a good reply to the magazine question.
Anyway I had to chuckle at it.
She says that it doesn't matter if the gun has 10 shots or fifteen shots or whatever.
Just make a law that says the owner can only have the one magazine for the gun and no spares.
It would be a felony if you are caught with a spare magazine in her twisted world,,,,,
Like all women, I can't figure this girl out as to whether she is pro or anti gun and she isn't saying much except that she does believe people have the undeniable right to own guns.
In a womans mind this could mean, yeah, you can have them but you damn well aren't going to be able to use them!

Interesting...

I noticed in your post, you mentioned that in your dreams, usually your firearm doesn't work or worse, doesn't do the job.

I also have frequent dreams wherein my firearm usually falls apart as I go to shoot or something crazy. I can't sleep for hours and must go clean my firearms after these dreams...what do you suppose it all means?

Are there any shrinks on the board?

Do I need herapy?

Am I compensatong for something?

Am I paranoid...who asked that?
