Houston area Riflesmith?

Anyone have any input on riflesmiths in the Houston area? Looking to build a 6.5-284(or something) and rebarrel a 300WM as well as rechamber to AI and K on a few others. Any input would be quite handy. Recently moved to the area and have yet to develop new contacts.

Tough one. They can generally live anywhere, which means Houston is........out. I've heard Tip Burns and Hill County Rifles are good.

i've use chris at aquila firearms a couple of times. he's on the east side of houston in deer park
