there's nothing too good to be true about it, I took that class, in san diego, ca, the instructors name is william desy. the class is 3 1/2 hours, the $125.00 covers the class fee, fingerprinting for utah, (for florida you have to go to your local pd or sheriff, they'll fingerprint you for a nominal fee), the notarized paperwork for both utah and florida, and they take the photos you'll need for both permits on the spot, all included. the state fees for utah and florida are separate and paid directly to the state, $59.00 to utah, $117.00 to florida. for the florida permit, you need to show the instructor proof of previous firearms training for him to sign your application, otherwise you have to go the adjacent range and qualify, for an additional $25.00 plus gun rental. that's not needed for utah. A good class and a cool guy. both permits combined do allow you to carry in 28 states.
