I own about 10 or 12 Leupolds, a couple Burris scopes and an old Weaver I bought back in 1974. I have played with Trijicons in the shop but have NEVER used one. I recently obtained a CZ Safari in 375H&H and I have been thinking about a lower power scope for faster closer-in work. The Trijocons came to mind...

Any thoughts of opinions?

Do they hold up? Are the optics consistently clear? How is their customer service?

Trijicon

I have two of them.... an older Reflex sight, the RX01, and an ACOG TA01.
They are excellent in just about every way. Durable, consistent, dependable.
The ACOG is one of the clearest scopes that I have had the pleasure to look through.
They have gotten pricey.

Float pilot, not trying to jack your thread. Can you post your opinion of the optics I am looking at for my Ar10 glass thread. It is down to 2 Leupolds.

I have several Trijicon Accupoint scopes and like them very much. I would consider them my best scope. I you the 2.5x10 version for deer hunting.

I have had two, the 1-4, and the 2.5-10. Both were flawless. The glass was every bit as good as my Nightforces, and Leupolds.

TexasEric:

My long barreled AR chambered in 6.8mm SPCII became a 400 yard rifle with the 24 inch barrel. So I removed my fixed 6 power Leupold and installed a 4.5 x 14 power VX3i with the Boone and Crockett reticule. It works out fine as a caribou and coyote zapper.

I also had it on an M1A for awhile. But that rifle was not as accurate as the scope.

It has held up ok for about 600 rounds so far.

I have another one with the big 50mm objective mounted on a 300 win mag. It has been doing just fine as well. ALTHOUGH the first scope had a cross hair problems, as it would make two groups as the cross hairs jumped back and forth under recoil. Leupold fixed that problem with a new scope.

I use the steel Warne ring/mounts on my AR, since the alloy versions were stripping their own threads.

I have that scope in a PEPR mount. I like the 2-7 version better and I use 2 Swan medium lever lock mounts on a fancy all billet Franklin Arms AR. I have Trigicon scopes, a couple ACOGs but never liked the glass quality of the hunting variable versions I've looked thru. Yes the old NXS Nightforce 2.5-10x32 ia the best compact (kinda) scope I own. It is on a custom .308 Carbine that is a go to, last to go rifle for me.
