And ah, yeah- Does anyone have a folding buffet table that will hold weight? We are probavbly gonna need it!!!

DIRECTIONS:
Directions are pretty easy- 93N (or south) to Route 89N (right before you get to Concord). Get off at exit 2. Left at end of ramp. Go 4-5 miles, and Pioneer is on the right. As far as landmarks, there aren't really any. Best bet is to watch for the "Entering Dunbarton" sign; it's not too far after that. Pioneer has a big white sign. The road to get in is a dirt road, ok for cars to travel on. We can meet at the clubhouse. I will probably be in a blue Audi- if the weather is nice, then I may be in an old Impala.

PMFJI, but I'll try to make it, also.

I'll plan on bringing:

M4gery, or maybe 2 (If they're back from the 'smith)
M1 Garand
98K Mauser (Lots of 8mm, if anyone wants to shoot)
FR-8 Mauser (7.62 NATO)
1911
Maybe the 03A3

Are we short on handguns, or is this mostly a long-gun issue? If we're short a particular caliber, maybe I can help out.

Think I have a table we can use, as well.

Thanks.

Scott

Man, we're going to have fun. I've got to remember to bring lots of targets, both bought and computer generated! :D

And ammo. Lots of ammo. (Relative to my budget, anyway!)

Oh yes, getting more ammo in preparation... buck, slugs, etc. :D

Man is my shoulder going to ache... 30-06, 12ga, etc. sure aren't that fun on either end! :D

EDIT: Kingson, how much ammo are you bringing for what? I'll be picking a bunch more up, but i need to know what to buy and brands... will that Thompson digest Wolf? What about Wolf in the Calico 9mm? The Cobray?

Myself and the wife are still on track. Our own local club is haveing an open house so....We may dump a few rounds, get to shake hands and run back north.

Third Rail
I have to take an ammo inventory to see what I need, but I will probaly at least bring 100-200 rounds per gun. I just haven't had time to look. I haven't tried Wolf in the guns but I don't see why it wouldn't work Lets hope I don't get stopped on the way up and have the officer ask if I have any guns in the car..that would be fun

phew...I misunderstood your post then!

Sorry- long day at the office. You confused me as to the cop and guns thing. Now that I reread, I understand. Sorry- I'll go back to sleep now.

Bugger,

SWMBO has reminded me that we already have something on that day.

Hopefully next time since this seems to be turning into a regular event.

At this point we're still in, but we're both hoping that the weather turns nicer... it's been rain for days, and rain as far as predicted.

Hi all!

June 5th is a no-go for me, but I'm going to try to make the next one, and by then I'll have acclimatized my wife to centerfire again and will have all my .45's back from the gunsmiths.

THIS IS NOT A JOKE

My wife is comming.

Really. I'm in shock. If I can get her to shoot a gun, I STRONGLY advise people to buy a lottery ticket. They have better odds...

Wow. I'm psyched!!!

Hey Just heard about the nick name you guys gave me so I decided to register with it...I will make sure to bring some cool toys with me.

Bill

It'll be good to see y'all-

I was getting nervous with all the rain, but the forcast as of this AM is partly cloudy with a high of 79!!!

Keep our fingers crossed...

If anyone needs me during the day, email me at mrgoldblatt at comcast dot net- work blocked this sight.

A friend of mine has expressed interest in going. He is eager to try some scoped rifles, so is anyone bringing one?

I was thinking- and yes, it hurt-

Since we are meeting at 11AM, and 12ish is usually lunch time for everyone, do y'all want me to have my wife pick up a bunch of deli meat/ drinks? We can just split it up when we get there? Or does everyone want to worry about themselves?

Last time everyone brought for themselves, and I went home and binge ate. Not good for my already rotund figure...

No biggie either way (she will be going Sun AM anyway)...let me know...

:cuss: :banghead: :fire:

So, our "wonderful" bank shorted us just enough to make this trip financially not such a great idea.

I'll see what I can pull off, but this may not happen - I'll be able to say for certain by tonight. :(

DID I say "just enough"? Make that $200!! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Ex-Ma Hole, That sounds like a good idea. Eating and shooting are two of my favorite things! :D

Jrob24, I have a FN Police Special in 308 with a nice Vari III in 4.5x20x40 scope on it. I'll bring it along. I believe that Clocktower has a Savage 10FP setup as well. I'll see if he'll bring that along to.

Third Rail - Banks suck. They always pull that stuff but hopefully you'll get that money back. Anyway, you should still come even if you can't buy all the ammo you were looking to get. I'm sure there will be more then enough around to try everything.

Looks like there's less missing than we thought, but still a problem.... The bank shorted us "only" $40, but Jessica's job shorted her... oh, $60, $80? Great payroll people. Real great.

I'm going to do anything and everything to go this Sunday, we've not had fun in too long. (Getting a little... bored, almost)
