How Can I Get One of These Babies?

1,600 Euro? That's like 2 Grand!

That is quite a gun. 1600 Euro is about 2000 bucks American...give or take. Maybe there is a big tax or something in Germany but that's a lot of clams for a CZ...isn't it?

Last time I was there the VAT was about 26%.

That's the Value Added Tax, and it is on everything you buy, however if you are just visiting you can supposedly get it back.

I called CZ USA and left a message. I have no clue as to how, or even if one of these could be procured through CZ USA on a special order basis.

I have a 97 I really love, can't imagine a target version, not to mention the "cool" factor.

CZ has a lot of sport/competition models based on their basic CZ 75/SP-01 and 97 line. But most of them are not available in the USA as far as I know. And they do seem a little expensive...

Schmeky,

Get one of these, you can paint it black if you prefer:

I have this pistol in .38 Super, but it's available in .45 too. Single action, wicked accurate, and so far completely reliable.

The magwell comes right off and full length grips can go on as you like.

Mine has 18 +1 capacity in .38 - it's an open the box and go shoot open class gun. The holes are for a nice solid factory scope mount, and a compensator is an easy add-on. There's a guy selling red, blue, yellow, and maybe purple grips for it too, or there's a factory set of aluminum hand fillers.

It even comes in about the neatest box you ever saw.
