I have followed this election for a long time now. I do not wish to get into a political debate as thats not my intentions. But John Kerry is a: I DID, I DIDNT guy. Well ARE YOU or AREN'T YOU, DID YOU or DIDN'T YOU?? I mean how can you have done both and stand for both, or done neither and stand for nothing? See, i am confused already!!!!! Is it just me, or does everyone else want a leader who stands for at least one or the other. The very men we vote to represent us have turned Black & White into Grey. Sure there are a few things that stand out, that they are for or against but for the most part, they don't feel as if they can take a stand on anything.
I mean honestly, you voted for the war, and then you didn't? You threw your medals, Oh not really, i just threw the ribbons? I believe in keeping jobs in America, but my wifes business has all her factories overseas? Either you DO or you DON'T. Am i the only one this FRUSTRATES? Ok, i'll get off my soapbox now. I just once want to see a politician, like it or not, STAND FOR SOMETHING. Be it good or bad, Stand on it, and believe in it!!! Is that to much to ask???

Nick:confused: :fire: :banghead: :barf:

See Lyndon B. Johnson, POTUS 1963-1969

Not only did he change sides, but he was able to absolutely convince you he was on your side. . .whichever side you happen to be on.

edit: ooops, wrong dates. . .

John Kerry is the epitome of the post-modern politician.

His values and principles will switch according the audience, and his "god" is poll numbers.

Not exactly the kind of leadership I want during a war.
