How Custom is Remington Custom?

Will they make me a left handed Model 7? Or will they only use the base models that they list on the website?

highly unlikely they'll make 7 for you in a lh version if they do not already make left handed versions of the rifle.

for what they probably charge to make you a lefty 700, you could probably get a MUCH better 700 pattern from another mfg. surgeon, for instance, is getting awfully proud of their guns these days, but there are many newer companies out there that make better actions for reasonable $

They are "custom" up to the point of adding some features, but I once asked if they would make up a Model 7 with a solid walnut stock and schnabel tip, and they said no, only laminated stocks.
