For those of you that have sat through the crap movie that is "Bowling For Columbine", how did you stomach it?

My favorite scene: When Michael Moore was going door to door in Canada, just opening people's unlocked doors.

Runner up: When he was in Wal-Mart buying ammo, the girls asked what kind. He replied "Ya know.. bullets."


Granted, I could only get through 10 minutes of this socialist BS.

I REFUSE to watch ANYTHING put out by Michael Moore. There are very few people that I respect less than that moron. Watch the movie again, this time closely. Moore has no overarching thesis and he wanders all over the place.

Basically he's pot stirring with some hysterical/reactionary visual bites (bite me), but much beyond "They're evil and isn't this scary?" there's no direction to his rant.

He never once looks at the political rationale behind RKBA and Article II.

I was delightfully surprised when I just watched Ben Stein's documentary about the suppression of intelligent design theory, "Expelled". He showed that it's entirely possible to honestly show both sides of an issue fairly, civilly, and still be funny without ambush interviews, and be respectful of people you disagree with.

I watched it with a pen & notepad and a sick stomach. I did feel MUCH better when I proved to my friend that the word documentary does not indeed make it true and that you can look like a real ass if you use Michael Moore’s "facts" in an argument. She was a bit more skeptical when Fahrenheit 911 came out.

A couple of Friends and I tried to make up a Michael Moore drinking game. Basically, you had to drink to every lie.

It took us about ten minutes before we started to have serious fears of alcohol poisoning.
