So, whenever I picture myself wearing a concealed weapon, I invariably picture a handgun in a holster on the small of my back, with my jacket or a coat covering it up (for concealment purposes, I think a gun on my hip would tend to be noticed, as that's where I also keep my pocket knife in it's belt pouch, not to mention that it might get exposed while I reach into my hip pocket for my keys.
Anyhow, assume I'm somewhere where I don't want to broadcast that I'm packing heat, or perhaps even in a locality where openly carrying a gun (as opposed to concealed carry) might be considered illegal. Now assume that it's a refreshing 95 degrees outside in the typically damp weather that we get in this part of Texas. Needless to say that wearing a leather jacket would look odd, not to mention being remarkably uncomfortable. How would I carry a concealed firearm in this case? Would I be limited to an ankle holster underneath my pantleg?
