How do you hang a wall-hanger?

I made this to hold my Jap 6.5. Took about 2 hours less the finishing. Wife kinda hated it right over the TV like that.

I created this cost-effective but good looking (IMHO) display for an Enfield No4:



I used a shadow box (from Michaels), some pipe fittings, bondo and OD spray paint (from Home Depot), and some bicycle inner tube. The photos below illustrate the process:

I don't want it over the TV like that either.

You can't admire it well from that far away and it would be a royal pain to dust. It ought to be over the fireplace at eye level.
