Man, I am getting fat necked. I have to get out of the office, and walk the yard more!

AM,
The last picture is the best, by far. That one strikes a note with me. Nothing in the picture distracts from the message. The gun is an everyday part of life, not the point of it. This picture displays that point to a "T".

It reminds me of a picture my daughter took of my son and me out on a friends farm. I will dig it up and post it when I find it.

Thank you. I will never be as good as Oleg, but I fool around. BTW, all pictures are done on timer, 10 seconds to get in position after pressing the button. You should see all the ones I throw out!:D

AM,
The thing that makes you good is repetition. Keep at it. I like where you are going with this.

BTW, I have worked hard to ensure my children see firearms as tools, nothing more, nothing less. Looks like you are on the same path. Good on ya!

I don't think there's anything "homo" about it, but it's a little goofy... Your son seems to be eying your neck. Vampire theme?

I tend to be the only one who notices awkward situations in advertizing... Anybody seen the Burger King commercial where the guy's taking a bath and makes the "Sponge-Bob No Pants" joke? His bathroom is the size of a livingroom, his teenage daughters are IN THE BATHROOM watching their dad take a bath, the bathroom has regular windows with only half-curtains and no privacy glass, and come on -- the guy's taking a bubble bath! What's up with that?

Edit: Oops... It looks like you already addressed all those things in your next 3 pics.

Anyway, I think the setting of your pick is awkward. Were you keeping a gun in your son's room? Did you rush into your son's room to defend him? I would think he would be pointed towards you with his eyes closed, or else looking towards the camera/threat, but he's facing you looking at your neck. You're not standing, and it's hard for me to get an idea of why you picked that spot to crouch down. It's just hard for me to "get into" the scene, or whatever ... I'm trying to think of how things went down that you're taking your stand crouched down in front of the laundry basket.

And yeah ... the background is a little busy.

But I'm certainly being too critical. If you're just playing around and this isn't something you're actually submitting to CZ then it's great.

Edit: oops, it looks like you already addressed all those things in your next 3 pics.

Past my bedtime, so please excuse the lack of critique - but I think all of 'em are very cool. I see that you've given us a better view of the pistol, so it's easier to identify.

Good job dude. Maybe not Oleg's caliber, but he's probably got a good bit of practice on ya!

Nice job AM. I agree with SpiderJohn, not pointed (something about the business end of a weapon). Looks like a casual photo of you guys in the morning. Not bad for setting up and timing it, I was thinking you had someone helping you out.

Last one is the best for sure. I think by now I'm totally desensitized to any fear of guns, but that first picture really just bothered me. Like somebody said before, I couldn't stop staring at the barrel. The homo comment actually made me laugh, because I see why they'd say that, but the intended message was definitely about the father-son relationship and the need to protect your child.

The pics with the kid on the phone were just unrealistic. I don't think I would ever give a child the responsibility of calling 911 under any home invasion. I would at least tell him to hide under his bed with the phone while I took care of business.

The last picture was the best. Message was clear, good interaction between father and son, gun looks good in the holster, and nothing was traumatizing like the first one. Looks good.
