How far can I shoot with this setup?

I am shopping for glass for my Remintong 700 SPS Tactical in .308.
I have almost decided on the Bushnell Elite 3200 5x15-40 Tactical.
This scope has a Mil Dot reticle and target nobs. I am thinking of
mounting it in Warne ringe with their 20 MOA base. I have considered
a Super Sniper but I really want a variable power scope since I will
hunt with this gun some.

I guess that all depends on one factor you. How much time you spend behind this rifle will determine how far it will shoot. As far as set up goes no reason with practice you couldn't get out to 600 possible further. Nice setup but its not a F-class rifle. I believe that 95% of the rifles out there will out shoot their owners; mine included. So practice, practice, practice set goals practice untill you meet those goals then set new goals. That is the only limitation to how far it can shoot.

You can shoot it to the trans-sonic limit of 308, provided your scope has enough elevation left over.

With a 20 moa base, and I'm assuming a 24" barrel it's easily a 1000 yard gun. If it's a 20" barrel it may still have the velocity to reach 1000 but I don't know for sure.

I have a 700 VS in .308 with the Bushnell 3200 5x15x-40mm. It is a pretty good setup, but the furthest I have shot is 200 yards.
