In jest of course:

My gas bill has been creeping up in cost the past couple of months. The last bill was rather high. So I high tailed it to wally-world to get rolls of plastic and a staple gun. (A nice one with rubber grips!)

I kept my finger(s) out of the trigger guard until I was ready to 'fasten the target'. Sealed up all my windows. A few were rather drafty, so this should help alot.

Anyways, to keep this halfway on topic, I was telling my dog (shaddup, you do it too) about how we are now protected against not only cold drafts, but any biological attack from either JBTs, Zombies, or aliens. My dog yawned, and eventually ran off with the scissors and fell asleep on the couch. I had to resort to my Cold Steel TiLite and Leatherman to finish the job.

Oh, and the caliber of choice for tacking up plastic was 5/8" 6mm. I think that was about right. Didn't over pentetrate. But, I might need to bump up to a Magnum class next year, like the 8mm.
I had a few FTFs. I also need to get a beveled mag well for that gun, speedy tactical reloads aren't something normally associated with Staple Guns!

What's the power factor of pointed tipped 6mm staples?

While your 6mm staple far outperforms a typical office stapler, it will never be mistaken for a nail gun.

With the cold weather I was thinking I should get plastic out. Guess I don't want to look like a Kook so I won't :) :) Glad I don't have a indoor dog to talk to....Might confuse him when I am talking to myself.

i bet it's got one of those scissor-lugs, too. Them things can poke your eye out! Ban it!!! For the children1!!

I think my staple gun is technically a Belt Fed Semi Auto Sniper Staple Gun.

All the ammo is linked together....

:)

I'm half tempted to zip tie a dot scope on it and post a pic.

No one I know uses a staple gun to go hunting. No civilian should be able to put in more than ten staples at a time, government and police maybe, but the untrained public? They should be banned, period. The ones that they sell openly at WallyWorld don't even have safeties. They could just go off by themselves. They don't have any indicator that alerts you if the gun is loaded. And 1/2 inch staples??? My Gawd, that is .50 caliber!!!

Build a better safety on a staple gun and the world will beat a path to your door! You`re a genius!:neener:

Actually, don`t give em any ideas. I don`t think we`re that far off from that scenario.:scrutiny: :uhoh:

/sarcasm=on/
All a stapler is supposed to do is staple 2 pieces of paper together. The instrument you possess is unnecessary.

If I had my way, we wouldn't even staple paper. Putting holes in paper to hold it together is somewhat barbaric. Tape would be the preferred, non-violent method.

/sarcasm=off/

I shoulda thought of this. The insulation at my place sucked, literally. It averaged about 55 at nights. My roommate likes to turn off the lights because 'it saves electricity'. This is while he's in them.
