I'm stationed in (Camden County) GA and it took exactly one week for mine to reach me via base mail system (which is always backed up). The probate court told me, however, that it would be 4 to 6 weeks. I guess that security clearance came into play.

In Pittsburgh, it takes 3-4 weeks.

In Philadelphia, at least 5 weeks.

In just about every other county in the great Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, you can get it in 15-20 minutes.

Montana has to issue within 60 days, I received mine on day 59.

From the time I mailed in my paperwork (application, fingerprints and certificate of class completion) to the time I received it was just under three weeks.

Interesting you should ask.... I've just received mine !

Here in Missouri, it's a shall issue withing 45 days and according to my CCW instructor it has been averaging 21 days.

I received mine on day 18 after submittal of my application to the county police.

However, as others have stated, it depends on where you live. Good Luck in getting your soon !

I'm a MN resident and applied for my Utah on April 26th. I called near the end of May and they said another 6 months. So I'm still waiting. They have a huge back log with us out of staters getting Utah permits. They are now catering to their resisdents which I can understand.

The WA process was surprisingly quick. Probably not much more than two weeks for the original.
The renewals have been even faster.

I work as a county correctional officer. A few of the other officers applied and received their permits very quickly, some by the next week. Of course, no such luck for me. I kept checking and finally just waited for the girls in the office to tell me it was here. Ended up being about 2 months.

They told me 120 days and it looks like they weren't kidding. August 4th will be the 4 month mark. A little rediculous in my opinion.
