I try to limit my addiction to one a month--------then there's that deal that you just gotta have. My largest month I remember was 1 pistol, 1 revolver, and 4 long guns.
I bought three one month (i.e. a 30-day span) and paid for it dearly, but do not regret it. Christmas time seems to be when I splurge some cash on some deals you can find at pawn shops and gunbroker, when everyone is in need of some extra Christmas money and sell for their minimum.
I've never bought more than one.. but i'm young and have no money
however I do recall a day at work when one guy bought 12 new guns in one transaction. A company (I think it was savage) came out with 3 new lines of rimfire rifles.. be bought 4 of each, one in 22 lr, 22 mag, 17 hmr and 17 mach2.
Another one from California here so ONE a month is all we are allowed. I would go broke if I could buy anymore but it would still be nice to be able to make that my decision.

My firearm purchases have a acquisition frequency of about 4-6 per year when I'm interested on the average, but I have gone for 5 years without a purchase; not even ammo.
