Something around 20. Haven't counted, lately, to be honest. Got an almost equal number of long guns. I can tell you this, I don't have enough!
My wife don't care what toys I buy, life's too short. We're retired now and, I mean, we can't take it with us, right? We've been happily married for almost 25 years, now. If she did care, I just wouldn't tell here when I bought something since she can't tell one gun from another anyway. Heck, I've got 6 motorcycles, she don't care about that either.
They cost a little more than guns, though I could spend that much if I were into 1911s I guess.
I like affordable guns, you know, the kinds the snobs wouldn't own. I suppose my most expensive handgun is a Ruger Blackhawk, stainless .45 Colt. It wasn't that expensive except for having $250 worth of engraving done to it and stocking it with Sanbar Stag grips. I partial traded a Rossi M971 for the gun, didn't boot a lot of money, so the engraving alone cost more than the gun did.
But, I WANTED IT! Can't take it with ya.
