How Many Magazines Do You Keep On Hand For Guns You Regularly Carry?

One in the gun, three in reserve for a total of four minimum, although those rascally 1911 magazines reproduce like jack rabbits. No dedicated range mags though---I either trust them completely or they visit my anvil and 3# hand sledge and get put out of their misery.

I go with an average of 10 per gun; although 3 per gun is my minimum for carry pistols, going with 10 allows for extended range sessions without having to waste time reloading.

Probably accumulated around 30 mags eacj for my SIG P-228, 229 and 226 pistols, since I have multiple pistols in these three platforms ... About 12 for my duty pistol (M&P) since I don't like loading mags during range sessions, as noted. 1911 mags ... gosh, a drawer full, maybe 100 or so?

3 per gun is my minimum. I move up to 5 per gun if it is in my regular shooting rotation. I keep 10 per gun if it is in the home defense, EDC, or SHTF catagories.

For my Beretta 92 I have 4, they are the early style , because the 92 I have has a heel release.
For my Ruger P95s and P93, a total of 10 magazines. The each are loaded with a spare beside it. 4 Spares left unloaded. And 8; 10 round for range use.
Browning Buckmark, 9 magazines. Soon to be 10.
Ruger LCP, 5 so far, When I add a second LCP it will be 6.

I have no idea. I scarf up Glock mags whenever they're on sale. I've got 15, 17, and 33 rounders.

No dedicated range mags though---I either trust them completely or they visit my anvil and 3# hand sledge and get put out of their misery.

If I have a magazine that I know has issues I throw it in the range bag for malfunction clearance practice.
