I get it.
You know everything, so anyone that doesn't toe the line must be a "redneck", eh?
How many times on this board do you see people saying, "I'd love to have a $1000 Rohrbach R-9. It's not a gun you want to shoot often, but it's a quality piece."
Why don't you run a poll and ask how many rounds people have put through their Rohrbachs or Seecamps?
A Seecamp stovepipes on the last round, but that's okay because it costs $1500.
I see, because it's expensive, it's now "cool".
I had a pistol gripped Winchester 1300 Defender. I shot it a lot, and I could hit with it. I have seen a person(not a professional, just some normal guy) shooting clays with one, and hitting every clay. With practice, its not that hard to hit with a pistol grip. I would say most of the time, a stock is still better, but some think you just cant hit with one, and thats nonsense. Ok, I finally found a video with someone shooting clays(and smoking them) with a Mossberg pistol grip 12 gauge. This should remove all doubt about hitting with one.
Alright, all you anti P/G people.
How about this test.
You stand in my doorway.
I stand in my dining room, roughly 20 ft away.
I'll shoot at you with my pistol gripped shotgun.
I'll only use #4 buck, reduced recoil, 2 3/4" shells.
"Do you feel lucky? Well, do you?"
Don't worry, no one can hit anything with a P/G shotty. Or can they?
A lot. I had a maverick pistol grip in high school and for a while after till I sold it to my dad. I used to shoot it one handed like a pistol a lot to show off.
