I'm keeping my range pickup brass in the 48 oz Folgers cans from Costco, do any of you more experienced reloaders have an idea how much .45 will fit in one of these, and how much 9mm?

I just put 600 .45acp cases in one of the 29.2 oz cans. That is 20.5 rounds per oz. which works out to 986 for 48 oz.

1180 (counted twice in different 'cans') 9mm Luger if crammed full to the lid.

Approx. 5 lbs ( bathroom scale: added to my weight)

as of two ago, when I reorganized a little, I have 25 coffee containers full, sorted by headstamp.

Working from memory, about 1000 .40 or about 1200 9mm in the large Folger's plastic cans.

Yep--good for storing turrets w/dies, trimmers, instructions, notes, etc.
Also for powder measures (Lee Pro Auto Disk) and accessories.
Lee Safety Primes with primer seaters, too.
My ones with brass are rather shy and don't like their photos taken!:D

I love 'em: durable, stackable and my favorite price! The smallest ones are good for odd calibers and misc parts and junk, the 29 oz cans are holding the calibers I have the least of, .38 and .223 for example, and the large ones have the .45, .40 and 9mm (about 800, 900 and 1500 respectively, judging by the responses so far). As an aside, I haven't even started reloading yet (I have the Lee anniversary kit but I still need dies, a tumber and some other stuff) and I think I may have a problem: I was really excited to get that revolver brass last weekend in range pickup, about 200 rounds worth. I don't own a .38 or .357...
