How Much Loaded Ammo Do You Keep On Hand?

My answer too.

Each firearm I have has at least ONE 50 cal ammo can filled with ammo that's ready to go. Where I have several firearms of the same caliber I have at least one can ready to go for each.

I don't have a set amount. I just kind of wing it.

I do enjoy reloading so I do have quite a bit of ammo loaded for .38 Spcl, .45 Colt and .40 S&W (A couple thousand .38 and .40 and a few hundred .45 Colt).
For deer rifles I kind of load as needed. I'll load 2-3 boxes at a time and when I get down to one box, I'll load 2-3 more.

I cast as well, so I make sure to have plenty of cast bullets on hand at any given time.

How many loaded rounds I have is not really something I put a lot of thought into honestly.
