I have a .32 H&R Magnum revolver and I am handloading for it. It is a NEF/H&R model R73 five shot with the 2.5" bbl. It is mid 1980's vintage.

I want to load towards the upper end of the published data.

I'd stick to factory level stuff. IME, they are fairly stout, but if you do break one, getting it fixed can be a pain. The gunsmith I used to work for hated them because of their use of pins instead of screws to hold them together.

SAAMI Maximum Average pressure is 21,000 psi. That is more than .38 Special +P and fairly hot. I have no doubt those revolvers will stand up to more, but can't recommend it.
