I don't think I've seen this posted, so I thought I would share.
All items have a UPC bar code. Find the bar code of the ammo(s) you are looking for and make a note of it.
All Walmart's have hand held readers at most of the counters. These readers can show prices, on order, in transit, in warehouse, and what stores have what ammo in stock, based on the UPC code.
So, if you are looking for a specific brand or caliber, it makes it a lot easier. If you are willing to travel. Not far in larger areas as there are 2-3-4 stores around. Bit harder in small towns.
I found 500 rds of 9mm yesterday , I could have bought 1500, but I figured I would look out for the next guy .
Of course the clerk said, 'who ever shows up first, usually buys all of it'.
