Ok .... I was actually refering to a DPMS LR308 .... but I assume it would be the same.
I'm not going to remove the grip to check .... so I hope you don't mind if I stop worrying about it.

Thanks for the info. Used it today to put together the 300 pistol from the PSA labor day sale. You can buy a lot of gun for $380 these days. Seems like no matter how many times I've assembled an AR, there's more learning involved. Yes, I can watch the Brownell's video for the nth time, but this was quicker and just what I needed.
