While disassembling my Beretta 390, I accidentally allowed the hammer to come to a raised position. Now I can't slide the bolt off or get the hammer to go back down. Please let me know if you have a solution. Thanks
How about if you punch out the trigger pin and remove the trigger assembly? The hammer should have been in the cocked and locked position to begin with during disassembly and reassembly.
Pete, that would have been the best alternative. I was, though, able to squeeze a finger into the chamber and finally depress the hammer. I only take the trigger group out a few times per year, and it's easy to forget what goes where.
